“THE EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME!”
...it is said by the locals that when God was making the earth He left the best for last and took His time with the amazing and spectacular... Spring Flowers of Namaqualand... creating the "Garden of the Gods!"...
Every year once the winter rains have fallen people flock to Namaqualand to marvel and experience a miracle of nature. The normally arid semi desert area is transformed from a dusty, dry barren landscape into a tapestry of colours you will never forget!
The change is unbelievable and perhaps no where else will one find such a dramatic, exciting and exuberant awakening to Spring than in the Namaqualand area. The Namaqualand spring flowes are justifiably world famous and in a good year this botanical masterpiece puts on a show unrivaled anywhere on Earth!
Because we are dealing with nature the routes could change prior to or during your trip depending upon the weather conditions – temperature being the key factor. Trips are planned that we drive with the sun behind us.
Make sure you bring along a good pair of boots or walking shoes, a sun hat, sun block, a camera, and a good sense of humour!
Prices quoted are ex Cape Town and or surrounds.
